Wild Arugula (Perennial Wall Rocket, Wild rocket, Sand mustard) - Diplotaxis tenuifolia = Eruca sylvestris = Rucola silvatica.
Taste 10 times more intense! A perennial source of vitamins on the windowsill and in the garden.
If ordinary arugula seems not spicy enough for you, try its wild "relative". This is a magnificent early-ripening crop (cutting in 20-30 days), which works as a "vitamin conveyor" from May to October.

Differences from regular Arugula (Eruca sativa):
Life cycle: It is a perennial! A plant about 40 cm high with a woody stem overwinters in the soil.
Taste: More concentrated mustard-nutty, sharp, and piquant. The aroma is significantly more intense.
Benefits: Leaves are a "bomb" with vitamin C, iodine, and carotene. Regular consumption increases hemoglobin and removes "bad" cholesterol.

Agrotechnics:
The variety is unpretentious, loves light soils and sun. Does not tolerate excess fresh organic matter.
1. Sowing: Directly into the ground from mid-April. Seeding depth 0.5-1 cm. Seedlings appear on days 5-7.
2. Care: Regularly remove flower stalks to get tender greens (unless seeds are needed).
3. Home: Ideal for growing in pots on a windowsill all year round.

WARNING: This is a very aggressive plant that easily multiplies by self-seeding and takes over territory. It is recommended to grow in limited areas or in containers/boxes.
